I am running a 'latest' version of 7 and am frustrated by how hard Drupal is trying to keep me from installing a real promiscuous WYSIWYG rich text editor, an editor that will allow me to upload images in-line like my Plone and all my WP installs allow (at the very least) and allows my members (who are staff not community) to have a 'close enough to WP' content editing and content adding experience. I know this is a pretty dumb question but I cut my teeth on version 5 and version 6. Yes, I said my Plone site.

I mean, I know that Drupal is trying to protect me from myself and any security concerns, but I just want to be able to upload files and images and be able to visually align right, left, etc, without needing to pre-upload files and then hack HTML and all the other stuff that my team would rather die than do. I personally find the config and UX to be a bit more like Wordpress. It's clean imo. Download and install the.
